Johns and Lockyer are overated in some ways. Johns, in the fact that when he is injured he can still be called the 'Greatest Player in the World'. That irks me a bit. Lockyer is overated in the fact that if you sit down and watch one of his games, you can pick EXACTLY what he is going to do a few seconds before he does it.

That has become a great source of amusement between me and my friends during Origin games, and also translates well over to a drinking game. When he is about to do something, someone has to call what they think he will do... if you get it right, you all drink, if you get it wrong, only you drink. Try it, you'll be smashed before the first 20 minutes.

Anasta is overated when it comes to consistency. If he would play at his best all the time, he would easily be ranked within the top 5 players in the game. The only reason why he isn't is because he has too many bad games in between good ones.

In my opinion, the most overated player in the game today is Kimmorley. If you shut down his bull little grubber kick, or his little chip... then he is nothing. This is why in the international games against the England/Great Britain teams, he does nothing. They have scoped him out long ago, and shut down his game. If only the teams in the NRL would do this, he would have faded into obscurity with the likes of... that guy, and the other one.

You are joking arnt you. Finch is hardly rated, and myself being a Roosters fan believes he is extremely under-rated. He probably has the best long-kicking game in the NRL, and is a great ball-running hal-back. His passing game is up to scratch and his defence is alot better then that of kimmorleys.
So if any1 is over-rated it is Kimmorley!

finch isnt underrated or over rated he is just not that good. he doesnt have anywhere near the long kicking game of johns or lockyer or even kimmorley. u look at he percentages of long kicking and kimmorley is in the top 3 long kickers in the game. the most over rated for mine is either dane carlaw or karmichael hunt. that should bring a bit of fire with the kiwis. he does his step every time and u see wen he comes up against good defenders he gets tackled straight away. hes got to pick the time to do it

yes, i agree with you there about finch, even though im a broncos fan :D i still reckon kimmorley is a fairly decent player, and is not under rated or over rated. and i HIGHLY agree that anasta is the most over rated player in the game.
