well it doesnt totally suk but it definatly isnt as good as it was a few years ago..like when Robbo was around (that man was gold!!) it definatly has gotten less and less funnier each year

I believe the footy show has gotten better. I watch about 15 mins of the AFL footy show last thursday night and what a great big pile of that was. All they did was Gary Lyons and James Brayshaw (don't think he ever played AFL but he wasn't a very good cricketer with South Australia) argued with Sam "my head is as huge as the moon" Newman about why the walked out half way thru and AFL game that people have called one of the greatest ever.
Now what do ya call that? A load of crap is my words for it

you are kidding arnt you???....the afl has the woirst game in the world yet their footy show is awesome....jokes are funny not the same wobble heads and THATS GOLD lame crap we see every week...those floor staff guys keep telling you when to cheer and laugh as well...what a farce.

AFL footy show is crap. Well, when i say crap i mean, they try to be funny and there not. The NRL footy show is great, 4 guys who are easy to watch a give you a laugh.

I have to agree with manlymania and say that even though I don't think much of AFL their Footy Show is much better than the NRL one.

The AFL show seems to remember that the main reason they are there is because of their sport and that's their top priority.

The NRL show is full of boofheads who think their acted out segments are actually funny and couldn't give two tosses about talking Rugby League.

They're all suck ups and call every player a legend and never say anything critical, even on the actual footy broadcasts, because they know they aren't there to stir the pot.

Fatty's hopeless, Sterlo's a brown nose, Chief's a gump and Johns, even though he's probably what saved the show a few years back, is content to laugh it up instead of doing a great job.

I don't mind SOME good humour on the Footy Shows but they should follow Sam Newman's lead of the occasional, smart-d, hilarious comment instead of just flooding the show with stuff ups and toilet humour.

Remember, these guys weren't hired because of their strong comedic backgrounds, it was because they were footy players.
